On receiving transmission of the precepts in the denkai ceremony, it is customary in our tradition, that the recipient gives a dharma talk acknowledging their teachers and the teaching path they feel called towards.

Jack has followed, as she puts it, “an intense and colourful practice life”, and felt the support of many. She would like to encourage others into the deep dive of zen practice which helps us unfurl our past history and process our suffering, reveal our fundamental belonging among all things, and explore, appreciate, and enjoy the mystery of it all.
